Salt

Screen Shot 2013-01-27 at 7.48.28 AMSalt: Most of us have been told to be careful of salt, but it is actually very beneficial and necessary for us. Salt helps ‘dissolve’ things in our bodies…Salt is also warming and helps you retain water…so if you are cold, put salt in a foot bath, or in your normal bath, and it will warm you up. Skin that looks a bit like a raisin when you get out, means that you gave away ‘your’ water…so if you add some salt, it helps prevent dehydration…This is the salt that I use and you can get it at many Whole Foods stores, on Amazon, as well as other places I am sure…
