When you awake in the morning

IMG_0051When you awake in the morning, and before getting out of bed, make a habit of focusing your attention on your ankles and wrists. Rotate them in one direction and then the other. While you sleep, your attention withdraws from your extremities, and doing this exercise tells your prana (energy, qi) to move into your arms and legs. It helps you to move smoothly, and consciously out of bed. Try it…you will see.
