“Why” is never a good question

Screen Shot 2012-12-29 at 9.19.02 AMWhy now…Why me…Why this?

Why is never a good question. There are a myriad of causes and conditions that contribute to something happening in our lives, and it is futile to look for a reason why…

“Why” can get us stuck for hours, weeks, months, years or even lifetimes. It also keeps us from taking full responsibility for our actions. We create our world, in each and every moment, by the choices we make and the actions we take. Actions of body, speech and mind.

We say we want happiness, but we are not very good at knowing how to go about creating that for ourselves. We trip ourselves up left and right.

Better questions would be: “now what?” or “how?” Questions that will make us move on.
