This is the dance of appearances. Mind is dancing with phenomena in the field of the senses. How we respond to and engage with these physical, psychological and emotional phenomena that comprise the objects in our environment in one moment conditions our experience, for better or worse, in the next moment, and the next. All of this is the momentum of karma, or, more precisely, our individual and collective karmic patterns. Karma is the linked chain of cause and effect; the seed that produces the flower that produces the seed, and so on. There are two sides of appearance: the subject side that is the perceiving aspect, and the object side that is the perceived aspect.
