Life is as dear to the mute animal as it is to any human being

Screen Shot 2013-08-15 at 8.04.07 AM“Whether we belong to more evolved species like humans, or to simpler ones such as animals, all beings primarily seek peace, comfort, and security.

Life is as dear to the mute animal as it is to any human being. Even the simplest insect strives for protection from dangers that threaten its life.

Just as each one of us wants to live and does not wish to die, so it is with all other creatures in the universe.”

Totally agree. A friend of mine killed a moth the other day and I was devastated. I can’t stop thinking about it. I’m a bit afraid of them but I wouldn’t have hurt it. She smacked it with a cloth so suddenly I couldn’t stop her. Life is precious to every being.
